| Yorkie on craigs list I just happened to go on craigs list yesterday and I saw the cutest 11 month old little girl for 100.00 in the New York city area. I'm pretty sure it's not a scam if anyone is interested they should check it out. Nancy, Sami & Lily |

| Yorkie for 100.00 here is the post Yorkie Puppy for Adoption with Small Fee -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Reply to: mrubin528@yahoo.com Date: 2007-07-16, 12:18PM EDT My wife and I have an 11-month old Yorkie. We are looking for a family to adopt her that has a fenced in yard or open area to play. Most important is that she go to a family that will provide her with much love, attention, and exercise. We would prefer a retired couple that could frequently take her on walks or a family with children to keep her busy. She loves to play. Unfortunately, we live in an apartment that simply is not big enough for her and both my wife and I work. All we ask is $100. Because we want to ensure that she goes to a loving family and genuinely care for her well-being, there will be a brief interview and we will want to see where she is going prior to dropping her off for good. She has been spayed and has all her shots. We have all of her medical records. Thank you..... |

Luvs Lulu Donating Member | That is a very low adoption fee. If they are asking that low they why not any fee at all to the right home. Makes me a bit suspect. Be careful if you do decide to speak to them and allow them to meet you for an interview.

| Usually people do that to keep the dog out of the hands of dog fighters that go around getting fighting dogs and bait from free to a good home ads.

I would have asked for a higher amount just to weed out a lot of people and either not taken it once I found that right family or take the money and donate it to a local shelter. I just find the amount to be very low.
