| Why is she being a brat??? I dont understand why Dolce is acting the way she is. The day before her spaying she jumped on the couch out of nowhere and peed on it!!! Never in 10 months has she urinated on the couch, chewed on furniture or in any way was spiteful. Now tonight, I had brought her outside with me for a bit and when we got back in i put her on the couch with me. She walked over to the other side, looked at me and peed. I couldnt believe it. I was so mad. Why is she doing this all of a sudden and she has also been peeing on the floor and not on the wee wee pad. Mind u she is 100% trained to go on the pad. Is something wrong with her or is she just mad at me for something and being spiteful?? Has anyone else experienced this?? I would say if she was scared or something and did it, but she has been hanging out with my family and some company all night and she even got treated to some table food. So she has had a pretty good night. Does their bladders get affected when they get spayed? Maybe she cant control it or something. I dont know, but I cant have a urine stained couch. Any and all help is greatly appreciated!!!

| I have heard of several situations where the dog has potty problems after being spayed. She should be back to normal shortly. I'll try to find you more info. |

| Here is more info on the issue: Sometime drugs can cause incontinence. It may be either something the vet gave at the time of the spay (an antibiotic or painkiller injection) or drugs you're giving her at home, if any. Or she may just be sore or can't quite 'feel' when she has to go right now. Try to take her to her pad more often to see if she'll go, she should be fine in a week or two. All the best |
