| Lola Lola will be fine eating broth...do you know a well known breeder, Ethel Munday used to give her Yorkies barley broth on Sundays to rest their "gut" as she say....get well soon. |

| What kind of soup? I wouldn't worry about it myself.

| Ha...She got herself a snack! Once my mini schnauzer drank a whole cup of coffee that was sitting on the fireplace hearth. I was so afraid she was going to have a heart attack from the caffine. She was fine tho.

On topic - Kalina will eat absolutely anything except what I want her to eat. I have to watch her constantly. I read somewhere that a Vet said it was ok to give a dog chicken broth.

| She should be perfectly okay. Some vets recommend giving dogs chicken broth if they won't eat.

| I'd freak at first, too, but like everyone else said, she'll be A-OK! It sounds like it was a tasty and sort of healthy sneaky snack...at least it wasn't French Onion soup! zoeybear--My friend's Yorkie liked coffee so much that his mom used to brew him a decaf cup every so often as a treat! I don't know if I'd go that far but he lived a long and healthy life so I guess it wasn't too awful!

| When antibiotics messed up Muffin's tummy, I had to start her eating again by using a dropper to give her chicken broth. She got fine, but it did take time.

Donating YT 500 Club Member | She should definitely be OK. Ozzie gets chicken noodle soup -- with just a few noodles -- when he's sick. Also give him unsweetened tea when he has coughing fits. Quiets them down quickly. |
