| Age and numbers Is there a certain age of Yorkies that you aren't supposed to introduce any more to the family? We have two, Cleo is 4, Kiwi is 2 and in January we want another. I know they would resent that for a while but would the oldest go into hiding or something if we brought another puppy home? How has it worked for some of you?

| When I bought Lucy (about 3 weeks ago) we brought her home (I just graduated college and taking a year off between undergrad and law school, so I'm living with my mom) to two (male and female) 7-year-old Yorkies and the female is the only one who seems to be jealous but things are slowly improving it just takes time for each of them to get used to one another. So honestly, I think you would be fine to bring home a new yorkie with the ages of your dogs now. But I guess every situation is different. |
