OMG...I almost lost Kiley!!!!!! I just had the scare of my life. I was laying back on the couch on one of the recliners and there was a bunch of jumping and stuff under my chair. I thought the dogs were under there playing like usual and didnt think much of it but it started getting very loud. I kept yelling at them to knock it off and all of a sudden I hear a screech like a cat so I jumped off of the couch because I thought they were really fighting each other now. I crawled under and looked and the only dog under there was Kiley and I could tell she was pinned. She just layed there lifeless and I started screaming at my husband. He couldnt get her out either so his son came running and he helped him pick up the couch and it took them forever to get her out. I thought she was dead because she wasnt moving at all. I kept asking is she dead, and they would say no shes not dead. I almost had a heart attack, I am not kidding. Finally after about 5 minutes they pulled her out and she was fine. She got her head stuck when I reclined back I guess. She crapped all over herself so I am sure she was scared to death. I dont know what I would have done if I was the only one there. I couldnt have lifted the couch and held it up while I crawled under it to wedge her head out. I am going to have nightmares about this for a long time. Please beware if you have a recliner and dont recline while the dogs are around, I thought I chopped her head off. I think I am going to be sick.

OMG, I know just how you feel! My little girl "Sahara" got under my reclining chair when I was sitting in it, I suspected she was under it so I got out of it ever so carefully. When I looked under the chair, there she was looking like a bear rug all stretched out. Thank God that she was so very tiny because there was only about 4 inches that secured her. I was not sure if she was injured or just unable to free herself and I was afraid to move the chair and perhaps cause injury so I just kept calling her. I was so frightened because she just did not move for the longest time, then she finally backed her self out. It will give you nightmares though thank God she is all right! So sorry it happened to you and hope your little one learns a lesson. I have to watch mine all the time, she is in to everything!

My dogs play under there all of the time and they go there just to get away from the others and they like to lay underneath it because it is dark under there. I have always worried that something like this would happen. It still makes me sick to think what could have happened. I was just in the breeders section asking questions because I would like to show her since she is so pretty. Everything happened so fast and she could have been taken just like that. I dont think I will ever recline again because you never know if they are under there or not. I have more than a couple to keep an eye on so it is even harder.
