| Red stuff by eyes? Coco gets this red/brownish stuff by her eyes and it's kind of gushy and smells. I always try to wash it off, but it doesn't come off. Do you know what it is? or how to get rid of it? |

Just like we wake up with "sleepy" eyes in the morning so do our furbabies. It is kind of hard to wash out, especially if they have long hair around their little faces. I usually will just wet a wash cloth and leave it kind of drippy wet and wash from the inside corner out. (my girls like having their faces washed so they sit really still for this) sometimes I have to take a dry paper towel to gently pull the rest off. I had read some posts on here where people have used those small flea combs to comb it out. Good Luck and how's that sweet little "Angel" doing? Brenda

| its normal, its just tear stains. When it gets to hard to clean just get it wet with a wet paper towel and fold it like a few times to get a nice solid point. Then just stroke down. If it does not come off just pull it off with your fingers but not too hard. My rocky actually does not mind a little tugging so it will depend on your dogs tolerance. |
