| Eeek!! My pups found a live crab in the yard! They had something cornered in the flower bed when I let them out this evening after coming home from work. I thought it was a Skink (huge lizard) but no, it was a Fiddler crab. How it got there I haven't a clue unless a bird dropped it. We live at least a 1/2 mile from the bay. They thought that was great, a new toy.... but he had a huge pincher claw and I was afraid they would get hurt so he went over the fence. ZsaZsa is still looking for it, lol. So what's the strangest critter you've found in your yard or I guess I should say your pups have found?

| That's funny. My parents live in Florida...not real close to the water either and they had a blue claw crab in their Florida room!! It had to have crossed streets and everything to get there.

| Wow, I can say that is one thing I dont have to worry about finding in my yard. I have found snakes, deer and things like that but no crabs here in Colorado. I went out one day and found bear paws on the car of my hood though |

| I certainly didn't expect to see a crab behind that flower pot! We do have a creek that runs behind the house but i'm sure it's fresh water, think those fiddler crabs are saltwater animals. Not sure how he got there. I'll take Crabs over Bears any day though I think!
