| VERY Dry skin Hi all we have Lexi and she is 16 wks old well when we brought her home she had FLEAS!! I was really un aware of them and they spread through my house like a wildfire. Anyway to help us out we give all the dogs baths. We gave Lexi two baths BUT they were a week or two apart. We used nothing on her but puppy shampoo. Now she has REAL bad dry skin. What can I do to help her????

| You want to be certain you completely rinse the shampoo out very, very well. If any is left, it can cause dry skin and itching. Also, she may be having an allergic reaction to the fleas. Use an oatmeal shampoo for dry skin. You may also need to use a cortisone spray to get her past the dry skin itch.

| I'd use some oatmeal shampoo on her. Also, you could try talking to her vet to see if there is any specific vitamin that you could give her. Good luck!

Donating YT 1000 Club Member | Shampoo and Conditioner I only use NuSal-T shampoo and Relief creme rinse my vet recommended it and it has done wonders for all 6 of my dogs. You can order it online at entirelypets.com. No more iching, dry skin, or anything. The creme rince has oatmeal in it. This stuff is awesome

| You can buy the fatty acid food additive at Wal-Mart (I buy it by the gallon from dog.com) It takes a few days to really start making a difference, but when it kicks in, it really helps. |
