| Road trip to Lake Powell!?! We are heading down to Powell the first week of Aug and we are taking our Kela with us but I am unsure about a couple of things. First, has anyone tried those dog life jackets and are they worth the money and hassle associate with them? Second, when you have gone camping what do you take with you? I am worried that with all the sand that things are going to get really dirty so I want to just get some ideas of what I HAVE to have. Third, its a seven hour drive, how often do I need to stop to let her go potty? And lastly, do you take them on the boat with you and how to do handle them being scared? All the help I could get would be great. Thanks so much!!

| The pup will be fine, just take food with you stop evet 2 hours for a small walk and have some sugar on you in case he passes out. But most likely , once he stops exploring the car, he will go to sleep. Take his toy with you as well, and make sure the windows are closed in the car so he doesn't jump out. As far as the boat and lake, he will love the water, its a terrier after all, just be carefull what's in that lake, I would not let him swim in it, put of fear of snakes. Enjoy! |
