| Blue eyed Yorkies ? I am familiar with the green eyes, but what about the blue cast? Sometimes when I take the girls' pictures, their eyes have a blue cast. Any other Yorkies with the blue eye sheen? |

| It probably just depends on the camera, the lighting, and what's around to cause a reflection in their eye.

| The turquoise blue or greenish blue eyes are an indication of a silk coat...red or gold would mean a cottony coat. My boyz have a very bright turquoise blue shine in their eyes when the light hits them and they both have silk coats...our first Yorkie, Boog, had gold eyes and a beautiful, yet, cottony coat. Some people don't believe in that but I know it has held true for all of my boyz and a lot of other Yorkies on YT. |

| Thank you for the replies. I have seen lots of pics with the green relection or the red reflection...but I haven't seen a lot with the blue. I am hoping they will have the silky coat. |

| When Cooper was a baby, his eyes were blue in his pictures. He lost it as he got older.

| my Lucy has a blue tint when we take her pictures with a camera, I guess that means she'll likely have a silky coat. Which is nice to know. Mazie has a cottony coat and it doesn't brush as nice as Max's silky coat. |
