| Need Advice Please........bee Sting Can you please give me some advice on what to do. Moose just got stung by a "bumble bee" on his RT front leg. It seems to be bothering him. He keeps licking it, holds his paw up (with a little shake to it). What should I watch for?? Should I call the vet? (we don't have a ER vet here) I would be calling my vet at home. What about benadryl?? how much to give?? he weighs 11 lbs. Please help. |

| Thank you, thank you, thank you. Ok, ran to the store and got liquid children benadryl. Poor baby, he keeps licking the spot and doesn't want us to touch it. I hope the meds kick in soon and he starts feeling better. We have a little pool set up for him in the backyard. He went out and got in the pool. When he came back in we noticed he was acting weird and bitting at his leg. We saw the bumble bee fall to the grown. The stinger was attached to the bee still, so I know that the stinger is not in his leg. Gosh.... I feel so bad for him. This is our first crisis with him and I really hope its our last!! Thank you all again! It is so nice to be able to ask people who are so knowledgeable at the click of the mouse. |
