| Its possible that she'll get a lot bigger, but its also possible that she's had her last big growth spurt. You never know with yorkies. But if she's growing, not just getting fat, then I wouldn't worry at all! Beside the point, I would suggest that you not feed Science Diet. Its not a good quality food, and vets only advocate it for their personal benefit. Try Canidae, Royal Canin, Innova, Merrick, Solid Gold. There are a lot more that are so much better for your little one than what you're feeding her now. Just search on here for good quality food, and you'll find something thats right for you.

| there is a difference between being a larger yorkie and overweight. maybe she will never be a little yorkie. I would rather have a healthy larger yorkie that one that is malnurished or underweight just to say that they were such and such pounds.

| My Tobi is 16 weeks old and we just weighed him in at 5.5 lbs. It's hard to guage a yorkie's health just on weight..have you felt his entire body to see if there's a defined waist? I know my Tobi is going to be a larger yorkie..and that's just fine with me. I usually walk him about 1-2 hours a day (with lots of active play imbetween), so I know I'm getting him lots of excercise! Good luck to you and your fur baby!

| Check out this web site for good dog food. You want to go for one in the 4-5 star range. The dog food in the 6 star range has too much protein. Hope this helps! http://www.dogfoodanalysis.com/dog_f...ndex.php/cat/1 |
