| Those of you who went from full coat to puppy/summer cut...any regrets? I know I want maggie in full coat but I have often thought about giving her a puppy cut just to get some of the puppy hair off of her. I really love her long hair but it isn't really laying very pretty at all and it is all i can do to keep it looking decent for more than 5 minutes. and I know it is because she still has so much of that puppy hair. I'm confident that when her adult coat grows totally in, it will be beautiful. so i'm wondering....if you have gone from full coat to puppy cut or summer cut...do you regret it??? do you miss the full coat?? i just dont want to regret it. i know i will long for the day when it is long and beautiful...but do you think i should do it?????

| I cant tell you to do it or not do it, thats up to you, I got dixie's hair cut short, dont get me wrong I like the cut, but all her black hair is gone, she is silver now where the black should be with black coming in under it......and I have no idea why her hair was pretty long when it was cut....I liked it long but I couldnt keep her looking nice either for very long......good luck with your decision.

| we accidentily (grandma's fault) from a VERY long coat... not full.... to VERY short... and after the inital shock.. i loved it.. EXCEPT it happeend in January and she froze... was always in a sweater... it is now 6 months later and her coat is about 2 inches long and i think in time for Fall we will shave her down again... the snow clumps too much with a full coat! i coudlnt' BELIEVE how soft she was when her hair was all chopped off! |

| I cut Zoey's hair and eventually her bangs also. I am not sure I ever want to let the bangs grow out again. I will let her hair grow though, it looks like one hair cut a year in the spring may be perfect. |

| try a schnauzer cut ... it keeps the hair long on the skirt and shorter on the top ... just be sure to tell them how you want the bangs and face done ....

| I think they feel better with it cut short for the summer. Ally, in my avatar has only hair on her head, I shaved her down to nothing on Tuesday. 1/4 inch and she looks like a little rat! But such a cute little body under all that hair.

Bless her little heart. She is so cute but she doesn't look too pleased with her new hairdo in that second photo. That is a cute harness that she has on- May I ask what kind it is & where you got it? | |

My Lil Man! Donating Member | I gave Reeses an almost puppy cut. Its not quite puppy cut but it is much shorter than I usually keep his hair. I keep it medium length where the tips of his hair is halfway between his body and the floor. It is now very short and I dont like it as well as the longer "hair-do" but his hair seems to grow pretty quick so Im not too worried about it. Lol. |
