| What Happened? My sweet baby woke up yesterday with this fowl smelling breath. What happened to his sweet puppy breath? He is almost 7 months old(on the 14th). I use Petzlife and in fact used it the night before, seems weird. Can anyone with more experience enlighten me? |

| He may be teething... I'm sure someone will be able to help, that would be my guess, unless you have a cat and he got into something he shouldn't have...

| No cats and he runs from his own poop like its cyptonite. Maybe you're right about teething. I'll have to find info on that, but I hope my friends here will hlp me out. |

| Have all of his puppy teeth fallen out? If he still has any of his baby teeth, that will make their breath smell aweful! Even with brushing, food gets trapped in between the baby and adult teeth and plaque, tarter, and bacteria build up so fast. Lacy had to have her 4 baby canines removed around 7 months because they didn't come out on their own and before that her breath was so stinky.

| Thanks guys I'll try and check them out if I can pry his mouth open long enough. Has anyone found a way to get them to open their mouths without struggle and stress. If you have I'd appreciate advice. Thanks again. |

| You don't need to actually get them to open their mouth. Just pull the lips up so that you can see the teeth. You'll be able to see if their are double sets of teeth there.

| I am going to check Kamari's teeth as she just went to the Vet Saturday for coughing. The vet looked in her mouth and said nothing about baby teeth even after I mentioned her breath was foul. He said she had a throat infection. I am having her spayed in a few weeks and hopefully they will pull the teeth out if needed.

| Rebel had double teeth for a while and his breath was horrific I had the last "extras" pulled at 8 months and now he has "regular" doggie breath again.
