| Feeling quilty when leave furbabies home Do any of you feel quilty when leaving your babies home for an extended perioud of time like 5-7hours? We went on motorcycle trip yesterday and was gone for about 6 hours. I felt so guilty that we stopped and bought some new toys at Target. We also got a new bed and stuffed it into the saddle bag. We also stopped at doggie store and bought some homemade treats. When we are gone like they we always bring them home something. They are not spoiled rotten are they.... | I wouldn't worry about it. I did at first when Ziggy was a baby. I had to leave him in his crate(mainly for his own safety) when I had to be gone for awhile. Then I realized he just went to sleep in there and didn't seem to mind. When I came home he would be yawning and groggy but glad to see me. I knew he couldn't have been in there being hysterical.

| I hate leaving Edan home for a long but sometimes you have to! Whenever I can, I put him into my carrier-purse and sneak him into places with me. He loves it just because he loves being near me so much.

| I leave my boys at home everyday for about 9 hours! (I work full time) We've gotten used to the schedule and for the most part we are all ok with it. They do well... But when I come home from work and have to go out again in a few mins, they howl like crazy and I feel sooooooooo bad! I hear them as Im walking to my car just crying and howling! breaks my heart!

Furbutts = LOVE Donating Member Moderator | I do sometimes - esp. if it's Friday night, we've only been home a bit and we're going out to dinner or something. I feel like they're saying "aw man! no fair! you just got home!". LOL.

| I also work full time and leave my babies home, but there is 3 of them so I feel they have each other to play with during that time. They do get excited when we get home though. When we have litters of puppies, I do have the flexibility at my job to come home and check the little ones and let Mom outside for a while. Guess we all have the best of all worlds!!
