| eyes i have noticed maggie has a lot of hair directly around her eyes. of course, these guys have hair EVERYWHERE but the hair around her eyes almost looks like it would bother her. it's very thick and stays wet all the time. do any of you trim that hair or just leave it alone?

| Once you cut it you always have to cut it. My groomer used to cut that har aound the eyes but I havent taken Jewels to the groomer in about 6 months so I have let it grow

| maybe this is the problem i am having...the first groomer i took her to shaved the bridge of her nose and cut the hair around her muzzle short (WHAT WAS SHE THINKING????) I guess I didn't know any better then but now am paying the price as we are letting it all grow out. so do you think I should go ahead and trim those little hairs around her eyes? I am not TOUCHING the hair on her nose or muzzle...but should I do those prickly ones around the eyes?

| You can if you want to or you can let them grow out. When they were to the point they were going in Jewels eyes I put vaseline on them to get them to lay down

| yeah, i did that LOL. poor thing...she looks all greasy but it is better than the hair poking her. i think i will just see if they will grow out ok and go from there....i really hate to cut her face hair at all. but i didn't know if it was something that was typically done. doesn't sound like it.
