| Interesting article, dogs chained in yards I thought this was an interesting article in our local newspaper today protesting dogs chained in back yards. I think it would be a great idea to do this to people who chain their dogs in back yards and leave them there. http://www.canada.com:80/vancouversu...d6eba6&k=87773 |

Yorkie Kisses are the Best! Donating Member | Oh wow - GREAT POST! I just did a post about this SAME thing on Millbusters.....and I'll repeat it here - I have to admit - I can't stand hearing dogs barking in my neighborhood - I always have visions of them in chains - this is GRAPHIC & sickening how that OWNER LET HIS DOG GET THIS WEAK - and kept him chained - http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=YN9t1rv4pj4 THIS one is way worse ....and I want to take those chains and wrap them around the inhuman 'HUMANS' that did this to these poor dogs ...there was even a small YORKIE ...MAN ! http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Gjgup...elated&search= |

A standard question I always have in my interviewing process when people contact me for a Yorkie pup or adult is about their dog ownership history and any pets they currently own. They are never reluctant to tell me they own whatever large breed but it is fine because it lives in the backyard or basement or whatever. They really don't understand when I refuse to sell them anything because they are already ignoring/abusing the dog they own. On occasion, I have had people who own a larger breed geriatric dog and it is a member of the family and does live in the house with owners. They know they would prefer a smaller dog for their next pet but will still go whatever distance for the older one they have now and have always provided and cared for it very well. | |
