Hello again Hi everyone! I haven't been posting here in the last few months but now I have a bit more time and I'll spend more time here I'm going to start training as a dog masseur in September and I'm really looking forward to that. I've always wanted to work with animals so this is going to be really exciting Looking forward to chatting with you all again! Karin

Hi Karin and welcome back. Exactally where will you be working? That sounds very interesting. A dog masseur. Some of these dogs live better than I do.

Archie, the training is at an animal massage school and it will last for a year, so I don't know yet where I'll be working after that. The common thing to do is to work for regular vet clinics that want to offer that kind of service to their customers, or clinics that offer alternative treatments (physiotherapy, masage, acupuncure (spelling?!) etc, or for dog daycare centres/hotels etc. My dream would be to start a business of my own but I'll just have to see what opportunities I will get The great thing is that massage can be used for many different purposes (just like human massage). You can use it for relaxation, before and after sports or exercise, or to support the healing process of certain injuries. Anyway, I can't wait to get started!
