| The Harness Crazies! I swear I have to have a strategic plan to get the harnesses on the monkeys. As soon as I grab them from the entryway all heck breaks loose. Hallie is crawling up my leg barking at me and Simon runs to get his ball. It seriously takes me about 30 minutes from the time I get the harnesses to actually get them on. Then Hallie gets so excited she has to run to the food bowl since she feels the need to eat whenever she gets that excited then she has to try to steal Simon's ball. It's almost as crazy as after bath time |

| These posts certainly make me rethink about getting another one. Conner is a handful to get out of the house, just like a baby. I have to put his harness on, get his water to go, take treats, make sure he has a coat (in winter), leash, put him in the carseat (when we go to the park).

It's a Yorkie Thing Donating Member | Does make you think? Is one better than two... or is two twice the love..twice the trouble...I think I'd take the trouble with the love.

| They're really so cute, but I've had it! Max thinks it's a great time to tempt me into a game of "catch me Mommy." This can take a good 20 minutes until I set up enough barriers so that he's cornered and I can grab him. Terriors love to be chased, but I now have him back on his short leash in the house and I'm teaching him to come when I call. He has to come right near me, sit down for his treat, and then I pick him up to put on his harness. Of course he stops just by the kitchen doorway and I have to pull him to me and push down on his butt to get him to sit, carrying on what a good boy he is. It worries me because in case there's a fire or an emergency, I really need him to come, no matter what.

| It's VERY hard to get Sadie into ANYTHING that she doesn't want on. I bought her the cutest little orange life preserver so I don't have to worry as much about her falling into the pool - which she did twice this week (of course I was right there to rescue her). Well, I tried for a half hour yesterday to get the darn life preserver on her - forget it!!! I will definitely need a second person to help with this endeavor!! As for the harness, we've finally got that down to ten minutes!!!

Aww. A doggie shouldn't be alone in this world without another canine companion. Just think about taking a human and putting in with only dogs it's whole life! Ok, not the same thing.... but two isn't bad at all!

| I'm glad to see that the harness game isn't just an issue here. When I get the harnesses out Daisy runs to the food bowl and starts inhaling her small bites whole and Teddy runs to his perch in the window and kind of cowers. I have to chase both of them down. They love their walks in the park so much so I never could understand why they run from their harnesses. All of the other dogs I have had run TO YOU when they saw their collars and try to shove thier heads into the collars before you are even ready for them. YORKIES!!!.....YOU GOTTA LOVE THEM!!!!

| you guys are hysterical!!! excitement pooping and eating! That's good stuff. Otis gets so excited it hard to get his harness on. One time I left my car door open (the car was in the garage, with the door down) while unloading groceries. After about 10 minutes, I couldn't find him. He was sitting in the car, waiting patiently to go bye bye. I took him for a quick drive, just because he was so cute. don't feel bad Judy, Otis doesn't come to me either. I've tried working with him. He will NOT be trained in this area. I'm hoping it gets better as he gets older.

Fires a missle??? How far does it go? Would anyone like to try 3 Yorkies and a Maltese? It is very interesting but really not that much more work. A lot of times I actually take them out in twos. Sometimes just one at time depending on who it is and how everyone is acting. (and how tired I am. ) Or I take all 4 into the fenced in area. What gets me are the ones who make an art of pooping. Finding the right spot, back and forth, back and forth, back and forth, circle, circle, circle....until the poop can't stay in anymore. It does get tiresome to wait....

| Gizmo gets so excited when I wake up in the morning! He's a little angel about waiting until he hears me, then he looks like a little rabbit in that playpen. I have to wait for him to calm down some so that I can pick him up. I have NO idea what I would do with two!! Bless your heart, but I can't help thinking that yours is the house I want mine to be.
