| horrible accident Be careful about hanging your bras on door handles. A friend of ours knows someone who had left their yorkie in the bathroom in the hotel while they were out and when they returned the yorkie had hung itself on the bra that was hanging on the door. Freak accident but something to be aware of. Spreading the caution at least makes the puppies death no in vain.

| Oh that is so sad!!!! My little guy had a close call one day with mini blind string. He was playing with it and some how he got it around his neck and then he was kinda in a panic. He was running in circles and jumping trying to get it off....he was only making it worse. Thank goodness I was home and immediately removed the string from around his neck. Needless to say, there are no longer mini blind strings hanging within his reach.

| That is so sad. TY for the info. Thank goodness I remembered to put the miniblind cords up into the blinds. There are so many little things that can happen that we never think about. I am so sorry for their loss.

| I am so sorry for their loss! I never would have thought of a bra! I did worry about blind strings though so I have removed all blinds from the windows and hung short curtains up so they can't reach even those.

| That's horrible! Never would have thought of that happening. Also, the little thing on X-pens kinda like a clip that holds it together when it's all folded down flat. We had been out one day and Toto always gets so excited and starts jumping up and down until we get her door opened on the pen. She started screaming and when I looked, she was hanging by her topknot from that hook!!! I almost fainted and Patrick had to hold her weight off the floor while I got the thing untangled from her hair. He got his pliers and removed the thing. We also removed the closure from her other pens before we used them again! Who would have thought of that!!

| Wow thanks for pointing that out. I am sad to hear about the little yorkie though. I know I hang mine because if I toss it on the ground they chew the straps off. Guess I will be putting it on top of the dresser from now on. And good suggestion about the mini blinds too. I never thought of that. Thank you.!!!!!!!! |

| This is why dogs should be crated when they are not supervised. I always crate my babies when I can not pay all my attention to them. Specially when I leave the house. Letting them run around by themselves gives me an uneasy feeling. |
