| how old was your yorkie keeping bows/clips in their hair?! hi everyone! i was wondering if you would share how old your yorkie was when they finally allowed you to put a bow or clip in their hair & keep it in?!? mine will let me put a clip in BUT then she tries to shake it out or rolls around! i know she is still young(11 weeks) --it's not a huge deal now but i do wonder when she will be comfortable with stuff in her hair!! (sigh) the girls on here look soooo nice with their bows & topknots!! i hope she eventually likes it!

Never. I have to remove those show bows as soon as possible, so they won't destroy them.

| I've been slowly getting Wobie used to the clips in his hair (he's 15 weeks). She'll won't just suddenly start to allow it, you'll have to get her accustomed to them. Try putting a clip in for a few minutes at a time, and rewarding her when she doesn't shake it out. Then over a few days build up the amount of time she wears her clip. Good luck!

| Gracie still won't leave bows or clips alone. She will leave the soft scunnci pony tail wraps in, sort of. I think she does not like the tugging from rubber bands and clips.

| Good luck--let me know when it happens, please!!! Well, Emmy is over a year old and we still have not mastered it! To tell you the truth, even though I love the look and are SOOO envious of those who do, I have given up on a "beauty queen" little yorkie girl. She is a tomboy and hates clothes and hair stuff. I especially LOVE the little yorkie pajamas...I want some for her to wear so bad, but I know she will hate them...maybe I should start on little Oscar...wonder how he would look with bows in his hair?!?!

| I started putting a bow in Lacy's hair when I got her at 11weeks and she's never really tried to take it out. She's always been so good about being still and letting me put one in (even as a baby). She knows she's not supposed to mess up her hair. When she doesn't have any clothes on and no bow in her hair she'll rub her face against the carpet and roll around on her back, but she NEVER does that when dressed. I think she knows it's okay to mess up her hair when naked but not when she has clothes on. She's really good about clothes and bows.

| This is my first and last attempt with Rocky. He was little and was not happy one bit. I call this one "Mad Yorkie".
