| Update on Bluegrass's babies All the babies are doing great. Growing like crazy. The eyes are just opening and they are all beginning to try to walk. Boy they sure are chow hounds though. Mom can stand up and they just hang on to her. She about has to brush them off as she walks. They are growing and so fat little balls. She had 2 females and 1 male and one of the females has tipped the scale at 1lb 3/8oz in 10 days. I hope she slows down. I know when she getts more active she will lose some of her baby fat, but boy what chow hounds!!! LOL Anyway just wanted to let y'all ( a southern term)know how they were doing. |

| wow Wow!! You're babies are growing like weeds! Our yorkie babies are a day or two older than yours, also a litter of six, mom 5 1/2lbs, born on the 10th, and the biggest boy who was born at 5.2oz is about 9.4oz now...no eyes opening yet..and still just crawling (maybe they're slower because they were born at day 60?). Would love to see pics of your babies! I'll post some more soon Debbie Tea' +6 |

I will get some pictures tonight and post them. My last litter, another female I have had hers premature, I think because her baby girl is now almost 5 weeks old and is only 1 lb now. I think she is going to be a tiny little baby girl. She didn't open her eyes until she was almost 2 1/2 weeks old. She only weighted 3 oz when born. Her other 2 were so small they didn't make it. However "Emmie" is doing great. She is all over the place now and barking and playing around. | |

| Cute I love the name "Emmie"..my smallest girl was 3.5 oz. and of course, being the runt of the litter, I adore her and will possibly keep her. So, I guess it's possible then if they were born on the early side, maybe it will take them longer. I was also told as Tea' was bred on more than one day of her heat cycle (I think it was days 11-13) that perhaps the big guy was conceived first and perhaps she last?? who knows.. We both have healthy, happy pups no matter how big they are! and that's what matters most. Looking forward to your pics! Debbie |

| Pictures of babies Here are some pictures of Blurgrass's babies. Like I said they are real chow hounds and are trying to get up and start walking. They are 2 weeks old here. Starting to learn to bark too. They are so cute . Emmie is in the picture too she is 5 weeks old. She likes to try and play with them all as they are about the same size.
