| Barking I got to wondering, at what age do Yorkie puppies start to bark? My Eury is a little over 3 months and barely yips or barks at all. The only time we've noticed it seems to be either when she's sleeping and dreaming or when she's playing really hard with either us or the cats and even then it's only once in a while. Chelle |

| My puppies I have start to bark fairly young. I guess it depends on if they are around other dogs that bark or not. I have one dog that never barks and never makes a sound. I didnt even think she was capable of it until she was sleeping one day and something scared her and she started to bark for a second in her sleep. That is the only beep I have ever heard from her but my other dogs make up for it. |

| Izzy was the same way. He really didn't bark a lot up until this past month or so. (he's 10 months) At first it was cute, now it is annoying especially when he barks for no reason. His barking now is him being territorial when someone walks by the house or another dog. Enjoy it while you can!

| I certainly hope she's not a big barker but she's definitely a whimperer. In fact we call her "little drama queen" because when she gets going one would think it's just the end of the world. LOL Chelle |

YT Addict | Teddy started barking the very day he turned 3 months old! Go figure! Theresa was always a growler, (it is the funniest thing) but didn't start parking until 4 months.. I guess it just depends.. but like previous posters have said.. please enjoy the silence.. because once they start they probably won't stop. At least I know mine don't, but we're working on that!
