| How many fleas to lay an egg??? Oh my god yesterday when i got home i was scratching Toto's belly and i saw a black thing. Oh my god it was a huge flea I couldn't believe it. Stupid me forgot to put the advantage on him for last month. I got so grossed out. I tried to get it but it moved to quick and Toto wouldn't stay still. Those things gross me out. They gave me goosebumps. I felt so bad because i saw a little bite mark it had left on him. If my mom finds out she'll literally have a cow. Because he is indoor 24/7. I immediately put the advantage on him. And i know this stuff works really good. But i only saw one flea. I hope theirs only one. Well my question is how many fleas does it take to lay an egg. Please tell me two because i only saw one. Could it be possible to only have one flea. Please say yes. I'm going to take him this weekend to get groomed so she can give him a flea bath. Please let me know. Thanks. After i put the advantage i didn't see him scratch anymore.

| Sorry to tell you this but if you saw a flea , there are many more in the environment . I have had a very bad experience with them when Zsa Zsa was a little baby . It was long to get rid of them . They lay their eggs in carpets , dog bed etc etc |

| yeah, I hate to tell you but you better start treating the home too cause you don't want the skin people in the house to be getting them. Where there is one there is many. They are gross but it is better to get on top of treating for them now than to wait. |

| fleas One flea does not lay one egg..it lays hundreds. It jumps on the dog to feed on blood and jumps off to lay eggs in the carpets and furniture. Run the vacuum and wash Toto's bedding. I saw 3 fleas about 2 months ago on one of mine and nothing on the others...I got heartworm with Flea guard and have have seen none since. |

| So a flea doesn't have to mate w/another flea? Please i'm so desparate to know. I don't want to tell my mom cause she'll have a ****fit. The advantage said it kills fleas within 24 hours after you put it on. Or i think less than that. Oh my god what to do???

| Even if your Yorkie is inside 24/7 they can still get fleas. My vet told me that people bring them in. If they are in the grass and sense that you have a dog (most dog owners' clothes smell like a dog) they jump on you and when you go in the house, they jump on your dog. And you probably have more than one flea. I hate fleas too! They gross me out! I would give your Yorkie a flea bath and immediately put Advantage or some kind of flea protection on him. Good luck! |

| I found a tick on my pillow over a month ago and I wanted to die! I went immediately to the Vet and bought Advantix plus.Later I found another tick ,this one on Cookie. Well I have NEVER grabbed a tick or flee with my bare nails and I did! I took it to the bathroom and popped it in a tissue. There was NO blood and instead of blood it was this nasty black liquid??? Was it because it was being poisoned by the Advantix? The package says that Ticks and Fleas die if they try to bite your dog once you put the medicine on their back... This is the second month that I put it on both of them and I have not see any more anywhere. I vaccumed, I bought spray for ticks and fleas and sprayed all cracks,windows..everywhere! Good luck, I think they are totally gross too! Genie |
