| Fooey, like Bitter Apple Does anyone have Bitter Apple to use on furniture, walls etc? It got one and it was to spray on the dog to stop from chewing himself. So I returned it and got Fooey! Same idea. However, I am reading the bottle and it talks about poison control and to was hands thoroughly, etc!! How can this be safe for my dog to lick??? They are biting the corners of my walls and baseboards!!!! Little buggers!

| I have bitter apple I used it when Emmy was a small pup, prone to chew on anything and everything. I have just dragged it back out, because little Oscar is chewing up the carpet, the furniture, the doors, the crates, the EVERYTHING!!!!!!!!

| answer I thought the brand was Bitter Apple, but it is "Indoor Bitter End, the Trainer's Friend." It says it can be sprayed on fur to discourage licking, biting, and chewing AND as a liquid shield on other objects coating the surface with bitter taste. The Caution label only states: keep out of reach of children, do not spray directly in eyes (pets or human), do not spray on open wounds. Does that help at all? I bought it at the vet's office. We used to spray it on our feet when Emmy was little--she was a heel and toe biter! I also sprayed it on the legs of furniture--it did not hurt the finish.

| I've used the same bottle of Fooey for the last three years now. Our pug was a chewer and licker. One shot of the Fooey and he was done. Sophie is chewing now and she hates the stuff. Stand back....I don't think you should spray it while they are right in the area because I accidentally inhaled some of the after mist (for lack of a better word) of the spray and I couldn't get the taste out of my mouth for a while. I think it is more effective if they experience the spray on the object you are deterring them from rather than deterring them from an entire area |

| I used Bitter Apple the first time I saw Jake chewing on a table leg. One squirt on the table leg, and he never chewed on any furniture again. He didn't actually even lick it or get a taste of it, he just sniffed it. I also used it on a throw rug that he peed on (I pad trained), and he never peed on the rug again. When he was going through his teething stage, we sprayed it on our feet, and it stopped him from biting our toes. |

| Try rubbing a little clear roll-on deodorant on the baseboards, etc to stop the chewing. Works like magic for us!
