We have to go and cannot take girls out of the country at such short notice! I just don't want to go but we have urgent business in Spain (we have a property there) and MUST go - Paul cannot speak the language to start with!!) I can't stop crying!! | Sorry to hear, the girls will be okay! Have a good trip, do you celebrate Thanksgiving over there in Wales? Sorry, I know Canada has a different Thanksgiving Day than the USA, not sure what worldwide custom is. :P |

Hi Dan! Thanks - sure the girls will do better than me!! She really is a nice, responsible lady and her husband works from home so once they settle I hope they'll be ok. We take them on Sat am and I'm dreading it. No we don't have Thanksgiving here in Wales but I rerally hope that you and everyone else had a really great day!

Ana, I hope you have a great trip to Spain. Your girls will do fine, they will win them over and when you get back they will be speelping with them. I know it is hard to have to leave them, I am lucky I have family close by. Your week will go by fast, be safe..............Cindy

Thanks Cindy!! I know I'm being silly - this woman has been highly recommended by several people and I wouldn't leave my girls there otherwise BUT --- you knew there would be a "but" didn't you?!! It fills me with dread when I think I have to take them in the morning and leave them! Sue, the lady has worked for the RSPCA (our society for cruelty to anmals) - she has done home checks and all sorts and been in business doing this now for 6 years! I can tell by talking to her that she understands a lot about dogs and their ways and also she and her husband particularly seem to like yorkies. Also they have two teenagers who may hopefully fall in love with our girls (haven't met them yet) and a lovely friendly Golden Lab called Lulu. Just lost a 16 yr old Lab so Lulu is lonely and in need of company. I was there for hours talking to her so I know I'm being silly!

Bettye! SO lovely to hear from you and thank you for your kind words - I really am stressing out here but right now I could "kill" Gypsy Rose!! Batherd both girls yesterday and they smelt so good. Nice sunshine today so decided to really treat them and take them for a long walk - yes, you guessed - my lovely sweet smelling Gypsy Rose smelt sweet no more! Typical yorkie - she rolled in a rather nasty substance, henceforth called Foxy fragrance!! I was on my way to buy some groceries and the traffic had been horrendous so I had to wipe her with tissues as best as I could and carry on! TWO baths later that girl still smells like a fox (NO, foxes probably smell much better!!) - she is in the dog house ---- but I love her!! Baby Gizzie hasn't learnt this trick yet! Can hardly take her for her hols smelling like that - what's worse I can still smell her - I feel another bath coming up! She would like to come to you and Toto!! How are you getting on?! May not be here to see your reply as off to Spain 2moro! All the best, and HAPPY HOLS to all of you - we don't have it here but thinking of you ALL!!
