| What would you call this? Okay I am totally confused between the silky and wirey coats. Others in my neighborhood who own yorkies told me that Buttercup has a silky-wirey coat. I guess what they're trying to say is it's not completely silky like most yorkies. This just made me curious as to what type of coat Buttercup have. I've always thought it was silky but now I'm just clueless. What do you guys think? |

| Buttercup's coat doesn't look wirey to me at all. It looks like my Jake's, which is a silky/cottony mix. But, I think all Jake's new hair is coming in silky and all the puppy hair is what is cottony.....that may be the case for Buttercup too. |

| I believe wirey feels a little coarse to the touch, your baby looks just like my Lola and I'v been told over and over she is has silky hair OR silky/cotton mix.

| From my unexperienced opinion, I'd say silky...definitely not wirey. And so beautiful!
