| LOL.cute names and it sounds like it fit them well. I named all of my dogs after my angels. Family members that are no longer with me here on earth. That way I feel like a part of them is still here with me. Good luck in find your puppy a new name. |

| I had a short list of names that I liked, and then when I saw each one, I knew which name "fit" them.

| Just like parents to be sometimes do...I had a boy and girl name picked out before hand. I only had a boy name because he was named after a character on CSI:Miami. I never expected to use it because I wanted another girl. It didn't work out that way and I'm so happy with my boy and I love his name. I feel it fits him perfectly.

YT 2000 Club Member | I do not have my puppy yet, but I have had the name Jeter picked out for him for the past 2 years now. I like the New York Yankees and my Fav player is Derek Jeter so I picked Jeter for my puppy. I am working with breeder and will be getting Jeter around December. My husband said that maybe when Jeter is 6 months old we can get another boy! My sons want to name that one Pablo! Don't have a clue how they came up with that one Lol! |

| My girl was named after I got her. The name I picked out before she came home was Cocoa but then I changed my mind after seeing her. Her name is Ellie May and we started calling her Ellie Belly. She is also called Butter sometimes (I think that came from an expression we use around here "she's turning to Butter". So her AKC name is Ellie May Butter Belly.

| Both my partner and I are HUGE Marilyn Monroe fans - so we named her Norma Jean - and call her Jeanie for short And we had picked that name out before meeting her. And it suits her so well! |

| I named Wobie because of my favorite book/movie as a child, "Charlotte's Web." Its about a pig, and his name is Wilbur, and that is Wobie's first name. Unfortunately, the boyfriend had to have a say in the name as well, and he decided to include Obi Wan from "Star Wars." So his full name is Wilbur Obi Wan Zebediah. (Zebediah is to honor my cat that passed away recently.) But we call him "Wobie" as a combination of Wilbur and Obi. So I have two suggestions. Think about movie and book characters that you like. Also, if you're torn between two names, just combine them and make something really unique.

| When I get my yorkie I'm going to have a list of names. Bases on its personality I'll pick one. For my cat we were told by my moms friend who gave us the kitten that it was a female and so did the first vet. The second vet told us he was male. He was originally Delilah when we got him. Then Sunshine and finally when we found out he was a boy Pumpkin. Hes an orangy strawberry blonde cat born on Halloween. So his name fits. |

| These weren't yorkies but they are dogs I had in the past. Toby was a German Shepard mix. I took the name from a story book character that I loved as a kid. When I was a kid a neigbor had a beagle named Muffin, Muffie for a nickname. I always wanted to have a dog names Muffin, so I named my brown Lhasa Apso muffin. She looked just like a muffin and it fit her so well.

YT 500 Club Member | My daughter came up with our little girl's name. It is Sophia Rose, after our two favorite characters on the Golden Girls. That is her registered name, but she is Sophie to us.

YT 2000 Club Member | Jeter's full name on his papers will be Sir Jeter Pendragon Petrick. Pendragon is from King Arthur, wich is one of my favorite stories. My mom named her first girl Chanelle after the perfume, full name is Chanelle li'l Nellie Sweet Pea. Her second one is named Sindy Lou Who from the Grinch who stole Christmas, Her favorite holiday show! Sindy has a flower in her name as well but I can't remember what it is! |
