| at what age did your yorkie....? walk on a leash. Sophie is 12 weeks and she hates her harness and her leash, just chews them. And I wanted to take her for a short walk just down the driveway but she can't even do that! |

| awwww she's still young, it takes time. It took awhile for Jake, but I got him in the fall, then I got sick and had surgery, then it was too cold and snowy, yada yada. So, in the spring I started to put the leash on him first in the house so he could get use to it. I even walked around in the house with him. Then, I took him outside and gradually got him used to that. He didn't like it at first -- you have to remember how huge everything must look to them outside. I stayed outside with him a little longer each day, and now he never wants to come in! |

| Otis is 3 and he's terrible on a leash. He loves it, and he knows he gets to go somewhere, but he PULLS terrible. After being on YT awhile, I figured out to get him a harness. He does a little better, but still pulls.

| I started Gracie on a leash when I got her at 8 weeks. I let her drag it around the house for a day or two. After that, it was like second nature. Now, teaching her not to pull on the leash is another matter entirely!

| I got Zoe at 12.5 weeks and have had no problems at all. In fact, I was thinking tonite how good she does on the leash. I think it might help that I have an older collie who walks very good and I think she just likes to follow her and that might be why she does so well. |

Donating YT 500 Club Member | Ozzie did it almost immediately. In puppy kindergarten, people were practically dragging their pups with them, and he was walking soooo nice. But of course he was the first puppy to pee in the middle of the floor, so I couldn't really brag all that much. |
