| topknot bows Ok, how the heck do you guys with more than one dog keep bows in? Mine keep tearing them off each other. If it isn't that, they rub their heads on things till the bow is all messed up or off completely. The dogs even go after each others topknots. They are so mean! One will grab the other's topknot and attempt to drag them around. Or they will try the same with the muzzle hair. Is there any way to keep them in? Hey I just thought of something! I could put Bitter Apple on the bows and they wouldn't want to touch them!! Has anyone tried this? |

| Mine do the same thing and that is why I only put the fancy ones on for pictures or special occasions. The rest of the time I use the little baby pony tail holders you buy at Walmart. Even then they dont stay in too long without being ripped out by the other dogs. |

| I have no idea how to keep it in for people with multiple dogs either. Buttercup keeps his on all the time without messing with it but when I'm at my sister's house, it's a whole different story. He would try to tear it up and then all the dogs would fight for the bow. |

| My two actually leave theirs in, thank goodness!! Usually, Emma has a band and usually a bow in her hair at all times except during the night. Miko's hair is only up sometimes.

| I was wondering this too! I bought some pretty blue and green bows with sailboats on them, and some of the baby ties from wal mart, and everytime I get Paddinton's hair up he does that puppy shake (like he is wet) and it just flies right out! Maybe I am not doing it correctly or winding the bands tight enough but I am afraid of hurting him. He won't even keep it in long enough for me to get the camera I was wondering if there is a way to train them to leave their bows in. I want him to get used to them so that when his coat gets long I will be able to pull it up out of his face. -O

Yorkie Kisses are the Best! Donating Member | Stick a tiny little sign in the bow saying....PAWS OFF ! omega...maybe try a smaller less flashy bow that won't catch their attention till they get used to them in each others hair ?? |
