AKC package....Basic, Silver or Gold? Lost & Found? What do you guys do? I need to get Koda's completed and I am not sure which one to go with. W/ the silver and gold you get the 3 generation AKC certified pedigree and $30-$40 in e-certificates from dog.com. Also with the gold you get 1 year subscription to AKC Family Dog magazine and dog care and training video. Also what about the lost and found option for $12? I am just curious what others do with their AKC. Remember i am totally new to this so any info would be appreciated! TIA!

I always get the one with the three generation only. I can always get a research pedigree later on if I need it. the dog.com coupons are wothless. Plus, you always get them anyway. Or at least I do. i have never found anything i wanted there and shipping is outrageous.

I got the gold but i havent watched the dvd i got and i havent received my magazines its been a good month or so. i dont know when i start getting those. I also never used the edog certificates you have to use them seperatly and they are all for like 5 or 10 dollars each. so really its only 5 or 10 dollars off your purchase each time. I did want the pedigree it was important for me to have for some reason i dont know. And i didnt get the lost and found thing cuz my hupsband brought up a very good point its like advertising that hey look at me im an expensive AKC dog come steal me. Since the tag you get with the lost and found thing says AKC right on it. DIdnt mean to rant or dog the packages i think if you would enjoy these things you should go for them i just wanted to tell you honestly what i did with all the things i got so you could make your own decision.
