A Big Snake!!!! OMG!! I was walking little Juju in our yard and suddenly the birds started having a fit. I looked over and saw them flying behind a snake about 4 feet long!! I ran and put Juju in the house and got my 38 pistol...shaking like a leaf. I'm surprised I didn't shoot myself. Right before I went to get the gun, I saw the snake crawling under the pool shed. I didn't know if it came out the other end or not. I tried to look under (from a distance!) but couldn't tell if it was there. Then I threw some weed killer on the other side of the shed and got the hose and pushed it under the shed a little and turned it on. I thought I could flush it out. Now, I don't know where it is. I HATE THEM...especially since I don't know if it's poisonous or not. Now I have the 'creeps' thinking about it. I am going to google snake repellent right now.

OH my gosh!! That's a little scary! I too hate snakes, and especially when they're so big! Hopefully you can get some poison and get rid of him! Keep your baby safe! hugs

Oh how awful. Im not usually scared of snakes I lived out in the country and learned fast how to tell the difference between the posinous ones and the not. Its hard to tell sometimes. But I definately would worry either way about your dog. Thats a huge snake to have in anyones yard. My dad found one in his house the other day. It was a big on to even scared him. he has no idea how it got in.

Hi -- Where in Georgia do you live? I'm in Rome -- snakes don't bother me unless I happen upon one unexpected -- I grew up in Florida with a swamp behind our backyard. My dad forbade us from killing any non-poisonous snake and believe me, we learned the difference. For reference for everyone -- as scary as ALL snakes are for some people -- please remember that the non poisonous ones will keep poisonous snakes away.
