| Have you ever taken your pup camping? I am SOOO excited! I just booked a weekend camping trip in July for me, hubby and our furkid Tetley. We'll be camping on a beach on Lake Ontario (near Sandbanks Provincial Park) and this will be Tetley's first camping adventure! So have any of you taken your furkids camping? Any advice or stuff I should know about? I've been camping plenty of times before but never with my pup! Do yorkies like to swim? |

| Here's a pic of Sandbanks (right next door to the campground we're staying at) so just imagine us in the trees right there! Ahhhh...summer can't come fast enough. |

| I have taken Cody and Izzy camping. Izzy went her first time about 1 month ago. She had so much fun. We are actually going camping again for Memorial Weekend, but I am not going to take Izzy. We are going to our lease and there is no electricity. So if we are off riding 4 wheelers I would be worried about her being stuck at the camper. #1 it being hot, #2 big animials. When we go to a campsite that has electricity I will always take her. But when we go camping and have to run our generator (we only do this at night) then I wouldnt' feel comfortable doing that.

| Yes I have gone camping with a pup before. It's a riot!!! Pups love camping. I have heard of Sandbanks but haven't been there myself. I am from Ontario as well and there are a lot of nice places here. We've taken dwarf rabbits camping and even tookour last shepherd interior camping. She had to carry her own food which she wasn't thrilled about.

| Our little Buddy loves to camp. We have a motor home and he loves traveling in it. While we are camping he loves to sit in the window and watch for other furry friends to play with.

| Juju and Uma both love to go camping!!!! They love the meeting of all the new people, and the new sights and sounds. We head out at least once a month for 3-14 days right up untill Jan. and sometimes we even brave it then!!!

| camping vaccinations? This is a question I have been wondering about for awhile- I'd love to take Lucy and Tucker camping. Do you get any special vaccinations? Lyme disease prevention from ticks? |

| Come on up! The more the merrier!!! I found my campground by going to www.dogfriendly.com, so I know they welcome dogs! I've always wanted to camp at Sandbanks but it's super popular and gets booked up too fast, so I'm staying at a private campground nearby that has a double 5 star rating by Woodalls. Surprised ya that that's in Canada huh? See? It's not all igloos and polar bears up here! |

| What a beautiful campground!! Toto loves to camp too. She also likes to sit up on the dashboard of our motorhome in her little bed and watch all the little furry creatures and pretend to be vicious!! Hope you all have a wonderful time!
