| Hello, I was wondering how many only have 1... Hello, everyone! I was wondering how many people only have 1 little yorkie that they spoil rotten? I am going to get my 1st yorkie girl, possibly this weekend. And I only want one to love and spoil and take everywhere. I was wondering who else is like this? I know everyone says they are addictive, and you can't have just one. But she is the only dog I want for now. I find it easier to take care of one. I had three at one time, but it was so difficult. Three dogs not yorkies. Just thought I would ask. Mary Lowe West Virginia |

| One Yorkie Hi, I only have one yorkie, My little Bella the light of my life. I spoil her rotten but if I was to do it all over again I would have 2. They need playmates. Bella is 4 now and had a traumatic experience with a black lab and has issues with other dogs now. I think that they need a friend and I am still looking to add another little girl to my home. I think it would have been easier to start with 2 as all the house training is done at once. I used to feel the way you do only wanting one to take everywhere with me but that is not always possible. You can't take them into some stores and I know here you can't take them into grocery stores. So a little friend for when she is home is a good thing. I am on a waiting list with a breeder on N.Yarmouth one of her pups should have a litter this winter. I am very excited about it. Congratulations on your new little furbaby. Jay

| I have 2. I had my yorkie first, and sometimes... when his brother is driving him crazy...jumping on him and biting his ears, he wishes he was still an "only dog" but seriously, they love each other.

| I only have one Yorkie, and 4 cats. The house is busy enough. But when the oldest cat goes over the bridge, I suspect my Yorkie will have a new sister soon after! For now, I enjoy spoiling Gracie rotten. I can't imagine 2 fighting for one of my shoulders to sleep on!

| I only have one Yorkie. If I had to do it over again, I would probably want two. Ellie is so jealous over any other dog coming near us now because she thinks she owns us. I wonder if it would've been a little bit easier if she was raised with another dog. The vet bills are lots cheaper with only one though.

| I have one. She demands all my attention. I feel bad leaving her alone all day when I'm at work then have to come home to dinner, cleaning, etc. On top of that trying to keep a social life and leaving her alone again. I'm thinking about getting another one, but I don't know yet. |

| When I got Sadie last Summer, I only intended to have one Yorkie - as I had never had two dogs at same time before. But.... believe it when people tell you that Yorkies are addictive. I'm currently looking for a little sister for Sadie!!!

| I only have one, my baby boy Kobi. I love him to pieces and spoil him rotten, and I had only ever wanted one dog..... HOWEVER, I've recently been talking about getting another one (and I've only had him for a few months)...I'm starting to believe the potato chip thing...you can't just have one... I think he may need a buddy to play with since he does love to play, but he's also a handful, so who knows.......we'll see I guess!!! Good luck with your baby!

| Just One Yorkie I have just one Yorkie. Princess, almost 6 months old , just under 3 pounds and 1 old cat. I do not want another Yorkie----these 2 are enough for a Grandma to keep up with. LOL West Monroe, Louisiana |

| My Snickers is my only Yorkie but I also have a strictly-outdoor dog and cat. Snickers is the only one in the house. I wouldn't want another one just for the fact that I do not have the time. I love him dearly but at 8 months he is still not completely housebroken. I love spoiling and playing with him. He snuggles between me and my husband in bed every night. He is spoiled rotten. Congratulations on geting your new addition!
