| Tell me it'll grow back... Thank you for the pictures. I took Spicy in on Saturday and thought I was ok at giving the instructions for his cut but it looks like they ended up doing a schnauzer cut...short body, longer on legs, and the heartbreaking part- short on head. His top knot is gone. I did tell them to trim around the eyes but I guess I wasn't specific enough because they trimmed WAY around the eyes. His little face just doesn't look like a yorkie anymore. My husband says he looks like a Scottie dog. His face color was really changing and I'm wondering if she didn't cut more to try to get the black off and have it be more one color? It's not a bad cut...the cut looks like they knew what they were doing...its just that somewhere my desires were lost in translation. How long until it grows back??? I don't know how to post a picture on here or I would show you what I mean.

| i understand how frustrated you must be...I have had some bad cuts on my dogs before. the first groomer I took maggie to cut the hair around her face..her muzzle was shaved down. so i kept it short for a while cuz it was so frustrating to grow out. i would get frustrated with it and shave it down again. now I am determined to grow it out. it is sooooooo hard. so I know what it means to be angry about a bad cut. I curse that groomer all the time LOL I am sure your baby still looks adorable. It will grow out before you know it...we will do it together in fact, i am growing my hair back out too...so maggie and I are doing it as a team we are supporting each other so...feel free to join us

| Ok, I think I have figured out how to add pics... the bow I added myself...it's just stuck up top with that hair. Can you see how short it is on the face around the eyes?? The cut really made him light all the sudden but he may get darker...right?

| I keep reading the thread about the color and trying to figure out which one he is. It is all very confusing! From the puppy pics in the avatar and the pics here, can you tell what color his face will end up? Will it ever be the rich golden? Will it stay white?

| He's a cutie and what big beautiful brown eyes he has. I think if she went alittle shorter on his coat you would be happier. Buddy had a cut like that once and it seemed to be inbetween, not quite short enough. It will grow fast anyhow, not to worry. He is really sweet looking and seems happy with his new do. |

| I actually like it! I think he is a cutie!!! BUT, I know where you are coming from! We had once told the groomer to take an inch off and she started to cut it and took it done to an inch....I stay there and by the time I realized what was happening, he already had a strip down his back gone! I was short....only an inch of hair left all over! BUT, we liked it because we could tell that he just felt better....he was "free"!! ha,ha! And it turned out to be a perfect cut for the hot summer. PLUS, we didn't have to pay for it either! So, that was better! I will see if I have a picture on the computer and post it. He was still cute...as is your little one! Plus, I found that Mojo's hair grows back pretty fast....I think maybe most Yorkies do (not sure), so I wouldn't worry too much!

| Cute dog - I am not looking forward to Baxters first grooming. I guess I'll take him back to where I got him - They seemed to know what they were doing. Maybe I'll try it myself first - Who knows. I just know I'm not looking forward to it...... I'm told I'd have to leave him there for a few hours. |
