| Walmart is the Best! I found wooden gates @ Walmart, on sale for $9.99! They're great b/c they are adjustable and the perfect height for me to just step over instead of having to move them up or down. |

| I prefer baby gates because I can keep the dog in the kitchen or bathroom, and I can give the dog more or less full run of the house (just gating off a room or two). I live in a carpeted place that isn't too big so the baby gate for me is the best solution. I don't have space for a x-pen, indoors or outdoors. They seem really nice for outdoor stuff though! |

| If you buy the gates, be sure that the spindles are very close together. I bought two puppy gates online, but Sadie can go right between the spindles. I have been using a screen and that has worked just great!!

| My baby gates have a wood frame but the other part is plastic. since i keep mine gated in my living room, they are perfect. I only use the X-pen for my mama's and babies and it is in my bedroom. A word of caution about regular playpens. when i bought ceeby, my first yorkie, he chewed a small hole in it in about three days time and almost hung himself trying to escape. if I hadn't been home to see him, he would have died because he got hung half in and half out and half way up. |

Donating YT 30K Club Member | I had no problem with the playpen with Cali but Pixie chewed a hole thru it within days and got out of it. So Now I was using a gate and we can home yeterday and pixie had chewed thru that. So I am using a heavier Baby gate. I am going to start researching some stroner gates and will post what I find.

| I prefer the x-pens, the plastic kind. I got ours from Petsmart.com-it was free shipping at the time, so not a bad deal!
