| Tucker's Tough Night - Kinda Gross! Tucker was not his usual energetic self after greeting me when I came home from work yesterday - just wanted to sleep on my lap rather than racing through the house and attacking his kitty Nicky like he usually does. I checked to see if he was feverish, checked the capillary refill thingy, asked him if he was ok, etc. Nothing obviously wrong. Later, when I was in bed reading, Tuck got into his box to poop but when he got out, I noticed he was still squatting and a bit of poo was poking out. This apparently terrified him because he went crazy! Started running through the house, up onto my lap EEEEWWWW! in my BED! then back out again to the living room where he was rubbing up against everything he could see. Finally he squatted again and out it came - One of my long hairs stretched between two little pieces of poop! So, crisis resolved, I resume reading when Tuck starts making this choking sound and pawing at his face! I frantically grab him up and stick my finger practically halfway down his throat to remove the offending object, but... nothing. He continues, so I hold him to look in his mouth and spot a loose back tooth - AAWWW... I wiggled it (Tucker did not enjoy this) to see if it would come on out...not a chance. So I sat and tried to get him to chew on a his chewy but no, he sat for about 20 minutes crunching the loose tooth between his other teeth Crunk!, Crunk!, Clunk! AAAARGGGHH! A terrible sound... But, finally, there it was, luckily I grabbed it before he could and was able to save it for all time. My poor baby - what a night! Sorry this is so very, very long but I had to share - thanks for being here! Dana |

| Awww, little Tuck, poor guy! When Chewy's poos get stuck, he also freaks out and starts running but he also makes that awful sound they make when you step on them! |

| That's so funny the way you say he "took off", Tiah has done the same thing for the same reason. I though she got stung by a bee!! The good thing is that he is fine and now you know what to expect....it will happen again....and you'll be like , "Oh, he must have poop stuck to him again". Glad all is well! |

| Yep, chewysmom, he was making that noise too. I guess his not feeling well earlier had been from the loose tooth thing - so I did feel better about knowing that he wasn't likely coming down with anything. They are such a trip. Glad to know that Maximus too suffers from long-haired mommy syndrome...Thanks ya'll for being here to share with! |

| We discovered the hairy poo when my older dog, wrinkles, a char-pei, was a puppy. I cut hair, and i was doing it in my home in the kitchen... wrinkles runs in and devours a mouth full of hair... which was weird and funny until she had to poop and it just wasn't going to happen. Too much hair. We actually had to pin her down and pull it out by hand. aren't dogs great!

| This apparently terrified him because he went crazy! Started running through the house, Ahh, the dreaded attack of the POOH MONSTER as it is known at our house! The first time the monster attacked, Rusty acted like he had been stung by a bee or something because he screamed and cried and was so scared! It's too funny looking back on the episode!

| Funny, I never thought of mentioning it, but Stomper poops my hair all the time!! It is gross. He also runs around like a mad man when his poop is stuck to his butt. It is like he is scared of it. That is kind of funny, I must say. Scared of his own....!!! Tucker did have a tough not. Poor thing. Hopefully he slept well from all the drama!!!!

| It's tough when they have a little scare like that but I am sitting here cracking up with laughter that ALL of our little buggers are running around at some point with poo half hanging out of their butts with us running after them with paper towels. This is a sight!!!!! Gotta love the yorkies. |
