| Does Your Yorkie React Different To Other Yorkies? Both Gypsy and Ellie are always excited to see other dogs when out on walks but they absolutely GO NUTS when they see another Yorkie! They act so different to them... how do they know!!!! Anyone else Yorkie do the same thing?

| That is something I noticed with my last Yorkie/Silky Cooper. If it was a big dog he wanted to kick his a@@ If it was a small to medium dog he was rather indifferent, If it was another Yorkie he's flip out! He was in love! He definitely knew the difference! Keifer hasn't been around any other Yorkies yet (since his littermates) so I don't know. But I think they know and some of them are a bit of a snob!! |

| Prince doesn't want anything to do with another dog (big or small) unless it is a Yorkie. He was 5 years old when I got him and I recently found out the only other dogs he ever saw during his first 5 years were Yorkies. |

Banning Thread Dictator Donating Member | Eddie loved playing with Bruce, the first Yorkie he ever met. Since then, and I don't know why, he's turned into a snob. He doesn't care for small dogs. He prefers hanging out with the big dogs at obedience class. He even ignores other Yorkies. Weird. The funny thing is, big dogs typically blow him off!

| Our Chip is actually afraid of smaller dogs and a lot of strangers most of the time, but with big dogs he'll go up to them and go nuts wanting to play. One day we were at petsmart and he shyed away from a couple little girls wanting to pet him, but went up to this 110 lb lab mix and started barking at him. The dog looked at him like "yea right" and walked away... of course, Chip chased him! Silly puppy!
