| Peeing when excited? Hi, Mickey, who is now 4 months has just started peeing when he sees other dogs. I think it is because he is excited. Its not that big of a problem when we are outside, but we have another puppy on our floor in my building, and when we are both going out at the same time he pees in the hallway... I have no choice but to pick him up... but he wants to play so bad. How can I stop this? Can I? I guess I have to try to stop him from getting so excited? He doesnt stop and pee, he pees while he is running around, and trying to play.... Should I ask my vet? It is only when he plays with other puppies..... It has happened about 5 times already. Yeah, and this will happen even if he has already peed!!! Hmmmm......

| ahh I know how you feel! Bailey (6 months old) does the SAME thing. Yesterday she saw a pug on her walk and was jumping all over him then she peed! The owner of the pug was kinda upset... lol |

| It takes some time, but you really have to focus and not let him get too excited. It's called Submissive Urination. They DO NOT even know that they are peeing (they could also to poop too!) Roxy is 2 yrs. old and she will occaionally do it, but when she was little it was all the time. When we have guests over, I hold Roxy until every one has come in. I will place her down slowly and tell everyone to ignore her, let her do her thing, let her clam down and then you may touch her. Honestly, I would hold him when around other puppies. Let them smell each other when you are holding him, talk calmly to him. It will take some time and patience, but he is still very very young and you can probably get control of it. Best of Luck! | We have a 15 week old and he's done this a few times when my hubby has come home and taken him out of his crate, but he hasn't done this in awhile. Maybe he'll grow out of it?

| Mojo has been know to tinkle alittle on occassion. The vet assured us that this was okay...like humans sometimes do when they get excited, sneeze, etc (oh my). Anyway, he doesn't do it very often, but on a few occassions, he has left a few droplets from excitement.

| Yes we occasionally have this happen, but only with our male. Usually it's on the floor, but sometimes it happens on... US!

| Excited and peeing When we have guests over it is almost impossible to hold Tricksie down. We have tried to ignore her but she justs goes nuts. All dogs are different.
