| Pet Stairs for $10 bucks? Going through the newspaper yesterday and saw an ad in Walgreens drug store, for pet stairs for $10 bucks. I knew I'd need a set for the new sofa when it arrives, so I bought them. At that price, I couldn't resist! A good while back, I made a set for the bed, and covered them with carpet. They are huge, but my dogs can get on and off the bed easily with them. But they are bulky and take up a lot of room. Seems my Walgreens had these things hidden well. I had to ask someone where to find them, cause they weren't with the pet supplies. They were at the end of an isle, in the very back of the store. I get home, and put them together. Quite easy to put together, and put the cover on them. They sure looked really, REALLY short, so I measured them, and they are exactly 1 foot high! It has 3 steps, and is covered. They are supposed to hold up to 70 lbs too. Omg, at least they will do for the sofa, when it arrives! I'm just glad I didn't get 2 sets thinking I could get the big bulky ones out of my bedroom! I tried to find them on walgreens website, so I could post a link here, and couldn't find them. I know their web address is walgreens.com if anyone else wants to try. |

| I have those same exact steps. My are only 3 step high too. I have 3 sets, one for the love seat in our study, one for the love seat in our living room and one for our bed in our bedroom. We have a regular height bed and Millie can get up and down the bed using those steps. It does not come all the way to the top of the bed, but she is able to ascend and descend without trouble. So unless you have a really high bed, and you want to get rid of the bulky steps you have now, try the one you have on the bed and see how it works for your furbaby.

Yorkie Kisses are the Best! Donating Member | I kept up with that sale and called my Walgreens to verify they had them as I went in there 2 times and they didn't have any - I finally got some and they're PERFECT for the couch - easy to put together and the right height. They'll hold a dog up to 75 lbs but that kind of made me wonder as they ARE plastic....but I'm very happy with ours....Chanel uses them all the time but... Cheri thinks she's superdog and jumps OVER them...we're working on that |

Donating YT 1000 Club Member | They are perfect for a sofa but for a high bed they are no good. 75 lb limit...I guess I can't use them!

| Funny this was posted as I saw these at Walgreens and was thinking about getting them, mainly for our Golden who is 11yrs and can't jump on my bed anymore without assistance. We usually don't let her up there because of the hair, but occassionally on a weekend we invite her up and she just can't do it anymore. I saw it said 75lbs but they look so tiny..humm..I'll have to think on that, of course 10.00 isn't bad even if they don't work for her they would work for the little guys. kathy |
