| bella lost 5 oz??????????????? i took bella to the vet back in february and she was 4pounds 15 oz.....now when i took her a few days ago she is 4 pounds 9 oz??? what is going on? is this a big deal? my vet didnt seem concerned but i am!!!!! sorry i mean she lost 6 oz...

BANNED! | If she is eating well, acting normal and has no signs of any health issues then I wouldnt worry. Its not uncommon for small weight changes to occur, and IMO less then 1/2 lb isnt something I would worry about. Just watch her and see if she continues to lose more before worrying to much Mom. |

| i know what you mean.. the time before last layla had lost only 3 oz and the vet was concerned i think with spring she is SO much more active and burning off what she eats so fast... i woudln't worry as long as her appetite is good |

| i dont think the scale was off....i made him do it twice bc i couldnt believe my eyes....thanks everyone....i just needed to know if i should be worried. the thing is i live in gainesville part time and fort lauderdale the other time. my vet in ft laud is a family friend so i trust him soo much. i do like my vet in gainesville...but i just dont trust him the same. thanks again, i will just keep a close eye on her...

| Wow Joy I hope it nothing bad. Perhaps she's gotten more active? Hmmm. Have you noticed any changes in her eating? Keep us posted girl.

| not really...i mean she always eats about the same...the thing is, i really dont think she is more active...which is why i am worried...but i am starting to cook for her now so hopefully that will change things....

| Oh Joy, well I hope it isn't anything serious. Maybe her metabolism just got faster all of a sudden. Hmmm. Don't be worried, she'll be fine girl.

It's a Yorkie Thing Donating Member | was both weights done on the same scale? Not just the same office but the SAME scale? some scale can be different and on a little dog just a little bit will be a big difference.

| i dont know if it was the same scale exact scale, but it was the same type of scale......
