| Our two week adventure, plus new pics! So Sasha's pushing 5 months and already 4lbs so we went ahead and got her spayed. I was nervous, not because of the surgery itself because I know she's already bigger than some yorkies ever get, but because I know she's so darn active and I was afraid she'd pull something loose. So she does fine with the surgery, sleeps the whole evening and night, and is back to normal Sasha the next morning. I was supposed to get her stitches out in 9 days so I kept a close eye on her jumping around to make sure she didn't pull one out, kept her separated from the cat a lot so they didn't get into it too actively, and everything was fine. Until 6 days later. I come from class, and she's chewed them all out. I run her to the vet and the vet said since she was supposed to get them out in 3 days anyways and it looked mostly healed she was just going to put a dab of surgical glue on it and in a couple days she'd be all healed and the glue would dissolve and she'd be right on schedule. I come home from my afternoon class that very same day and what's she done? Chewed out the glue. Stinker. Back to the vet we go. For as much as she hates her bows and collar I knew she'd hate that darn sattelite dish looking collar if she had to get restitched, and so did the vet, so we tried a bit more glue and a couple staples this time, as a last resort to restitching. This time she left them in, but I had to wait another 8 days before we could get them out. Needless to say, I had a very greasy, stinky yorkie who really needed a bath. Now that she's all healed up and has had her bath, we did a little photo shoot! She would only let me get two pics with her bow, the rest of the time she was pawing at it, so to get any pics at all I had to take it out and sit down with her on the bed and keep calling her name, so these aren't very good. I didn't realize until I looked at these pics how much the hair on top of her head has lightened up! I'll post a baby pic of her for comparison. First pic is a baby pic.

| She's so cute! I think Betty will be the same way about her stitches. She doesn't like anything out of the ordinary on her! |

| She's a sweetie, for sure. But she's a persistant little dickens, isn't she? Sounds like she's gonna keep you BUSY for a long time.
