| Thanks to Max Well, thanks to Max we are having to tile the rest of our house. He just can't see the difference between carpeting & potty paper. It makes me sick even though I clean it right away, I know it's in the padding. I don't like sitting on the floor playing with them, I feel I'm sitting in pee. So last night I took a razor blade & cut the carpet where I have caught him several times peeing. Yes, the padding was stained. I have a carpet cleaner that I go over the spot & soon as I catch him, but I know it's still underneath. The carpet is only 4 years old, but when we built the house then we didn't have dogs. Had I known then I would have had the builder put tile in instead of carpet. Oh well, live & learn. Our PC room is getting done tomorrow, So I will be having YT withdrawl.

| I really sypathize! We just built a house and had it all tiled with the exception of the bedrooms (which we keep closed). It has made such a huge difference to me. I thought it would stop the accidents and of course it didn't but at least when I clean them I KNOW they are clean.

| We have been at it for over a week, & I'm finally able to use the PC. After tiling we desided to paint also. Might be done by next week. The kids are freaking not having any carpet, plus with the house all disaray, I'm not sure they are happy campers.

| I love tile or other hard flooring. The house will smell cleaner and if they have an accident, it's wiped up and GONE. I want to put wood laminate or something similar in my office. Betty LOVES it in here, but if I don't constantly keep my eye on her, she will have a little pee for herself. I think she thinks it's okay because she can probably smell remnants of past accidents even though I scrubbed them. |

| Good for you! I'd miss my carpeting if I took it out, but I would get over it. Carpeting and pets just don't seem to go together. I'm planning on moving within a year or so and don't want to spend money on new floors here, but when I do move, no carpeting! You're going to love it.

Yorkie Kisses are the Best! Donating Member | I miss carpet so much but we re-did our floors too when we moved into this house for the same reason even though we didn't have Cheri at that time....it was in anticipation of another puppy lol - Chanel was very good but holy cow Cheri still has accidents.... so all tile for me too....you'll be happy and it really is easy to keep clean it's looking great !! |
