| i read it. it is very true. although my family have always adopted dogs from a shelter that are mutts, they were and are the most wonderful dogs, i stick w the purebreeds. we are lucky to have my parents b/c they will not have a purebred, they would rather take a mutt who needs a home. they have saved lots of dogs from shelters. i guess this is the reason for my desire to only have purebreds. Most dogs in shelters are of mixed breeds. i do not want to add to the shelters population.

| “A lot of people are selling dogs just by calling them a ‘cockapoo' when they're anything but.” I think this is why the breeders of designer breeders just annoy the heck out of me. I mean, you exspect to accepted into a crowd where most breeds have been around for a century, yet they go about and deem what is and isn't a breed to them. Hypocrites much? I also think these people are out to make quick cash. I've seen mutts and there is no difference from them and designer breeds. I know a lot of people with maltipoos and NONE of them look a like. It's clear they are not trying to make a standard nor breed, just make cash. |
