Donating YT 30K Club Member | My 2 yorkies are pad trained and I swear they go every 2 hours. My Pom is outside trained and until she got sick she could go 12 hours, but she is bigger. I have found that with the pad trained ones that they don't really learn to hold it since they can go whenever they want. I don't really know if anyone else finds this to be true? My past yorkies could hold it for 8 hours generally.

| It's never the same here. We left them for 4 hours one day and not one accident. Another day we left for about an hour and came home to two pee spots! They went a whole week with no accidents at all and we were in and out. Yesterday, while someone was home all day, they had 3 accidents!! I don't know what is going on with these guys. They are sneaky so I don't know which one is doing it.

| Mine can hold it anywhere from 3 hours while we're home to about 8 hours when we're not home (which she spends most of the day sleeping anyways) |

| Howie will hold it for up to 8 hours. But usually that's only if I'm not home (even though he has pee pads). When I am home it varies from every half hour or so (he's not sick or anything, he just likes the attention he gets) to every couple hours when he's playing and distracted.

| Like the others have said with Murfee it varies. Most of the time he can go all night. He plays my hubby though and convinces him he needs to go out, but he really just wants to "hunt critters". We have never left him alone for hours at a time but he goes 3-4 hours between outside visits. Yesterday he went from 2 in the afternoon until 10 because it was thundering and he wouldn't come out from under the bed! |
