| 9 Days of Roscoe :) So Roscoe has been living with me for 9 days now and I have a few questions: 1. He sometimes grawls when he plays with his toys? Is this normal? 2. I ex-pen him during the day where he also has his crate in. He pees and poops on the paper (he did not like the pad that much) but the problem is that after his urine dries on paper, he loves laying on it. Now I work full time and I cannot be with him all the time. When I am home, as soon as he pees, I make sure to change the paper. As he lays there, his nose and face starts to smell like urine, is there anyway i can do to prevent him from chewing and laying on the urine soaked paper? 3. When can I wash him? He is in his 11th week, is this too early? Please share your opinons and thoughts. Have a great weekend, y'all! -Isil

| All mine growl when playing with their toys. As for bathing, I gave Piper a bath the same day I got her. She was covered in poop from the long airplane ride. Lying on the pee on the pads, 2 of mine did this, I put a small blanket on the floor by the pad. They now cuddle on that. They don't like hard floors.

| Could he be deaf? Thanks Piper's Mommy... Another question actually came to my mind...Roscoe does not get scared of big dogs barking, vacuum cleaner or anything loud...My BF and I think that he might be deaf...Is there anyway you can tell if a dog is deaf or not? He comes to me when I call him but I think that he knows that he should come with my body language rather than words coming out of my mind...Any ideas?

| Interesting question. Maybe you could try making noise when he's not looking at you, and see if it gets his attention...

| Lexie Lu isn't scared of anything, it seems like. The vacuum doesn't phase her...well, nothing really does. If something startles her she jumps up and barks at it. Maybe it's a lion-heart yorkie thing. |

| Try standing in the other room where he cant see you and call him and see if he comes. I start giving my puppies baths at about 5 weeks or so and I think growling when they are playing with their toys is normal. |
