| Should I take my Yorkiepoo on a Funds Raising Walk? I am doing a walk for Multiple Sclerosis next weekend. I am debating if I should take my baby with me. It is a 3 mile walk, so I would carry him some of the way. I dont know if it would just be stressful for him, or if he would enjoy it. Has anyone ever taken thei fur baby on such a trip? |

| I think he'd like it! Plus, if he didn't, its only a 3 mile walk, so it won't last too long. Have fun!

I Love Thor Donating Member | I think you should. Actually, I think there is someone else here who is doing a walk for MS as well, and she's bringing her pup! You should do it. It'll be fun for you and her! |

| It should be fun for both of you however you might check to see if animals are allowed. I know my husband's company does a walk for charity and this year are not allowing dogs due to "clean up" issues and complaints from the park district from years past.

| Great advice! I am going to make sure that they are allowed, and if they are, I do think I will take Ozzie with me. I am doing the MS walk in the bay area of California, I wonder where the other YT member is doing the MS walk? |

| I bet he would love it! Just make sure he has enough water and can rest a little when he needs it. |

| You may have to carry the pup a little bit but they are troopers. Mine go on hikes with us and they keep up with the mastiff. They love it!!

We are doing the MS walk in Seattle on Sunday. My brother in law has MS. Annie will be with us, being carried the whole way. Little Princess doesn't like getting her feet wet and it looks like rain. Have a great walk

| I actually walked 3 miles with Haruka a couple weeks ago. It was a fundraising for Boston Area Rape Crisis Center (agency for rape and sexual assault.) There was no way that Haruka could walk 3 miles with bunches of people. We finished 3 miles... Haruka walked a little and got carried a little.. it was repeats of that! She had a great time meeting with so many people and children!!!! I made her wear red sox dress! Try it! I think you guys will have a great time

| DO IT! My mom has MS and we walk it every year (the walk is today but I'm still sore from my wreck and was advised not to go this year BUT I still raised 1500 bucks which I'm going to mail in ) anyway, every year we've done this, our yorkies have gone (well bubba's first was last year)...they love the outside and walks so why not take them for a good cause? PLUS they each got a medal too :-P I attached a photo of Tyke with his medal on and if you could just ignore me in it that'd be great...photo was taken two years ago before I grew my hair out, lost a lot of weight, and look 100% different (I'm on the far right) Bubba got a medal and even when they wrapped it around him three times it STILL dragged on the ground haha. Unfortunately I didn't get photos of the walk last year so there isn't a photo with both dogs and their medals But do it...I guarantee you won't be the only one.
