| Poor baby...shaking at Petland! I had to run into Petland today to get some supplies. They had a small yorkie. I'm not sure what was wrong with her, but she was shaking all over, like she was cold. I asked to hold her. She did not seem cold, I think she was just terrified! I wanted so bad to take her home with me! They were asking $1900 for her! I can see paying that to a breeder, but come on! Petland?! After a few minutes, with my kids on the floor, she calmed down and quit shaking. I just hope she is being treated okay! Poor girl! |

Missing Yoshi Everyday! Donating Member | good for you....although seeing them in that condition breaks our hearts...but buying them doesn't do us any good...it only goes to support those terrible puppy mills...which i for one iam against!

| I would never buy a thing from any store that makes money off of the suffering of animals! That dog may have liver shunt. I'm sure she isn't healthy, and I don't know why she isn't with littermates unless they have already died. Red flag! |

| I know Petland sells a bunch of high quality foods and such, but I refuse to buy ANYthing from there simply because they make money off of the purchases in order to keep their place in business...That place makes me cry everytime I drive by it...

| We went to Petland before getting Spicy for the kids to see a Yorkie upclose. What we saw was awful! We were put in one of those cubicles to hold himWhat This tiny tiny puppy was also shaking like crazy and the teenage girl there told us "that is normal." He was supposedly 3 months old but was the tiniest thing I've ever seen. His "bargain price" was $2500!!! We did have a terrible time leaving him there but there was no doubt that this was not a healthy dog or a decent place. I also kept telling my husband I think they must sedate the dogs there because they were all so lethargic. Thank goodness we did our research and ended up getting Spicy from a reputable breeder. I honestly didn't even know these pet stores where still in business!

| Our Petstore that sells puppies is Uncle Bills. If they didnt have the best hamster food and beddiing I wouldnt go in there. Before I got yorkies I held one in there and it was shaking like that too. I thought all yorkies shake like that since that one did. Then I got mine and realized they dont. I dont know why pet store yorkies shake. Maybe being held all the time and being in those glass enclosures makes them nevous
