| Yes Dior has been insured the day after i got her. Diesel is not yet insured. I think its better to insure them when they are younger. She got spayed in Feb. and I received more than half of the money of all her vet visits thus far. A friend of mine waited till her shih tzu turned 8 to get insurance and was turned down.

Donating YT 30K Club Member | My 2 yorkies are insured and Maya my 10 year old pom is not. Maya is running up a fortune in vets bills lately I wish I had it on her. Cali has used her insurance a lot and we have gotten way more back then we paid in as she always has health issues. Pixie luckily hasn't had to use it. Definately get it as soon as possible if you are goin gto get it as they will not cover any illness that they have already had treatment for if they have the same problems after their insured (preexisting condidtions). I have VPI and it is 21.00 a month for each of them without the routine rider.

| I have had two previous dogs in the past both lived to be 17 and 16yrs old. Never had any health problems at all. I bought Buddy and took out the insurance the first year because pups always get into things they shouldn't. After the first year I cancelled it going by my previous experience with healthy pets. Two months after cancelling it guess what? Buddy was hospitalized at the tune of $2,200.00 and no insurance. I did buy it again and won't be without it. It really is worth it because you never no what might happen. Always expect the unexpected! |
