| Not docked My Tobey's tail is not docked and I think it's ADORABLE!!! I don't know if I have any pictures, but I will look when I get home. It curls over his back like a pug's tail. I don't really understand why yorkies get their tails docked for cosmetic reasons only when the tails they are born with are cute! I just know I'll have to keep the hair trimmed, but that's no big deal. |

| My Rhapsody's tail isn't docked. We got her from a breeder who was from Europe; she said they don't dock the tail over there. I love her tail. Someone told me that I would need to dock it to keep her bottom clean, but we've never had a problem and the tail curves over her back. Jess Hope you can see the tail okay, some of these are from when she was a baby.

| That thing about docking the tails to keep their bottoms clean is not true...If that were true, they would dock maltese tails and shih-tzu tails. It's done purely for cosmetic reasons in today's day and age. Back in the day, it was done for work reasons, but not anymore. It's done because it is the standard according to AKC.

| This Is My Harvey He Is 13 Months Old And Has A Full Very Waggy Tail. My Last Dog Had His Tail Docked, But That Was 15 Years Ago, I Like Them Both Ways, But If I Had To Decide To Get It Done Or Not I Would Definatly Not Do It. Harvey Seems To Show Such Emotions Through His Wiggly Waggly Tail - So So So Cute.
